Alexey Karashevsky was born June 11, 1971. He has got a higher education, 4 dan in competitive (Tomiki-ryu) Aikido, 1 dan in Aikikai Aikido.

Alexey’s Aikido record:

  • 1994 - Started studying Aikido. 
  • 1997 - Started teaching Aikido. 
  • 1997 - Took part in the III Tomiki Aikido World Championship in Imabari, Japan.
  • 1997 - Is the year when the style of Tomiki-ryu began its existence in Russia, and when the Federation of competitive Aikido was registered in Moscow. Aleksey is one of the founders of this style in Russia.
  • 2000 - Graduated from Russian State University of Physical Education as an Aikido trainer.
  • 2001 - Took part in the IV Tomiki Aikido World Championship in Osaka, Japan.
  • 2003 - 1-st place (Gold Medal) in individual Tanto Randori at the 3-rd open all-Russia Tomiki Aikido competition.
  • 2004 - passed a training at the Center of Organizational and Methodical Support of Physical Education (at the Department of Education).
  • 2005 - Took part in the VI Tomiki Aikido World Championship in Tokyo, Japan.
  • 2008 - 1 st place (Gold Medal) in the Kongo Division of the I European Tomiki Aikido Championship in České Budějovice, Czech Republic. Participated as a judge in the I European Tomiki Aikido Championship in České Budějovice, Czech Republic.
  • 2009 - Took part in the VIII Tomiki Aikido World Championship in Kyoto, Japan. Participated as a judge in the VIII Tomiki Aikido World Championship in Kyoto, Japan.
  • Organizer of the annual all-Russia open Tomiki Aikido Competition in Moscow. Chief judge of the competition.
